"Whatever did not fit in with my plan did lie within the plan of God. I have an ever deeper and firmer belief that nothing is merely an accident when seen in the light of God, that my whole life down to the smallest details has been marked out for me in the plan of Divine Providence and has a completely coherent meaning in God's all-seeing eyes. And so I am beginning to rejoice in the light of glory wherein this meaning will be unveiled to me." - Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross
St. Peregrine is the patron saint of those who have cancer. Each Friday night at 7:00 P.M. Eastern Time, Father Jeddie Brooks of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Monson, Massachusetts celebrates a Mass of Healing and a Novena to St. Peregrine remembering those with cancer or HIV/AIDS. If you or a loved one have cancer or HIV/AIDS, just go to the St. Peregrine Novena page at Holy Family and fill out the form there with names to include in the weekly Novena, Mass and Blessing. You do not have to be Catholic. The form results will go directly to Father Jeddie. And now, Father Jeddie's Picture appears on the page! Be sure to visit the special pages on Cancer Support and HIV/AIDS as well. Follow the links from Holy Family's Opening Page, http://holyfam.com/.

Unmercenary Sacred Music Site: This site is dedicated to providing free congregational liturgical music for Orthodox and Catholic communities. The prevailing standard on this site is full congregational participation in worship of the undivided Trinity using traditional ecclesiastical chant. Most of the music found here are adaptations from chant. Chant styles range from five-part Galician chant to Gregorian plainchant. Everything here is distributed freely. For that reason, it is an Unmercenary site, which operates under the patronage of the unmercenary physicians, Saints Cosmas and Damian.
